What makes the price vary

A hearing aid is a five-year decision, not a single invoice. What costs is not the casing: it is the time spent matching it to your hearing, then adjusting it until you stop thinking about it.

So there is no single price for a hearing aid in Morocco. The price depends on:

• The degree of hearing loss: a severe loss needs a more powerful device than a mild one.
• The shape of the device: in-the-ear, sitting in the canal, or behind-the-ear.
• The level of technology: finer sound processing, number of programmes, automatic adaptation to places.
• Battery or rechargeable, with or without a Bluetooth link to your phone and TV.
• How much you need to follow speech in noise: restaurants, meetings, large families.
• The follow-up and adjustments included: with us they are part of the price, not a separate invoice.

What does the price include at AUDIOLIK?

The exact price is given to you after your hearing assessment — quoting a final figure before measuring would mean nothing. You leave with a detailed quote, and nothing is signed on the day. It includes:

• The hearing assessment and a review of your needs: we measure your hearing and talk about the situations you find difficult.
• A trial of the hearing solution in your everyday life, before you decide.
• The initial fitting, with an ear impression when needed.
• Gradual adjustments, while your brain gets used to sounds again.
• Follow-up checks to make sure the device stays well adjusted.
• Cleaning at the centre and filter changes.
• The manufacturer's warranty and repairs.
• Help with your reimbursement file: a compliant quote and invoice, and the documents to gather.

One ear or both: how is the budget calculated?

The prices shown above are per device. The number of devices is not chosen in advance: the hearing assessment shows whether one ear or both need help.

With a bilateral loss — in both ears — fitting both sides is often advised. The brain locates sound by comparing what it receives from each ear: with two devices, you can tell better where a voice comes from and understand better in noise. With only one ear fitted, you hear louder but understand less. The quote then clearly shows the price of both devices.

Hearing aid reimbursement in Morocco

Part of the cost may be covered. The amount depends in particular on your scheme — CNSS, CNOPS or AMO — and on your top-up insurance, if you have one: so we cannot promise an amount in advance.

Does it show?

Far less than you would imagine. Receiver-in-canal behind-the-ear models are invisible from the front, and in-the-ear devices sit entirely inside the canal. Most people around you will not notice.
