They do not sell an object; they match a setting to an ear and to a life. The work starts with measurement: otoscopy, pure-tone audiometry, then speech audiometry. We measure what you hear, but above all what you understand. The two do not always go together, and that gap is often where the real difficulty hides.
Then comes the choice, the fitting, and months of gradual adjustment. A hearing aid is not set once and for all: the brain has to relearn sounds it had stopped hearing.
We start by talking. In which situations do you hear less well: at a restaurant, on the phone, with family? Since when? Then comes the measurement, which is painless. Around 45 minutes.
You leave with a plain explanation of your results and, if a device can help, a reasoned proposal — two or three models, not a catalogue. Nothing is signed on the day.
At AudioLik, whoever measured your hearing is the one who follows you. A successful fitting rests on a continuing relationship: by the third adjustment, someone has to remember what you said at the first.
Maintenance, cleaning, filter changes and repairs are done on site. A well-followed device lasts years longer.
106B rue Al Jounaid, Les Princesses, Maârif, Casablanca. By appointment, Monday to Saturday morning. We see patients in Arabic, French and English.
What people ask us most.
An ENT doctor diagnoses and treats ear conditions. A hearing aid specialist measures the loss, selects, fits and adjusts the device, then handles follow-up. The two professions work together.
Of course, and it is advisable. A relative helps describe everyday situations, and two people remember the explanations better than one.
